Divide Grange
Description:
Topic: Ranching for Rivers Conservation Fencing Program
Presented by: Jessica Makus, Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Montana
Background: Ranching for Rivers is a cost share program designed to assist ranchers with riparian pasture/fencing projects to help manage riparian land by offering a 50% cost share for fencing materials, labor, and off-site water infrastructure. The program is a great alternative to complete livestock exclusion and provides many operation benefits to the producer, while also enhancing and protecting the riparian resource.

Meeting will also include a special update on the new Montana Hunters Advancement Program by Zach Brown, One Montana.
