"Quintet plus 1" concerts feature the Chinook Winds with special guests. Soprano Heather Barnes, a frequent guest artist with the Helena Symphony Orchestra, performs Barber's "Knoxville: Summer of 1915," a sublime combination of music, lyrics, and voice. University of Montana School of Music faculty Christopher Hahn and Johan Eriksson join the quintet on piano and saxophone, respectively, on other exciting collaborations. "Quintet plus 1" concerts are part of the Great Falls Symphony's 2017-2018 Chamber Music Series.
