Learn how to spot trail damage, tackle invasive species and get trails ready for summer, all while enjoying Montana’s first state park! Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park is hosting an Earth Day Spring Repair Event on Sunday, April 22nd. The event will kick off at the campground pavilion at 10:00AM with an Earth Day celebration before dividing into groups to repair sections of trail, remove invasive weeds, and pick up litter. This workday will be led by experienced Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association members, Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park staff, and personnel from the Jefferson County Weed District. Bring ankle-supporting footwear, work-ready clothing, and a sack lunch.
