The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives will continue its Brown Bag Lunch series on Wednesday, July 25, with a presentation by Max Counter and Joe Bryan titled, “Copper Connections: Butte, Chile, and the Anaconda Copper Company. The two will present photos comparing Butte and Chuqicamata, cities dominated by copper mining and the ACM. This presentation offers a photographic-based glimpse into the distant, yet intricately connected, copper towns of Butte and Chuqicamata, Chile. Through photos, this presentation will highlight the contrasts and parallels between these two towns that exist on the edge of the Anaconda's transcontinental copper pits.
