Bear Safety/Education Talk
US Forest Service will be giving a talk on bears Thursday July 27th, at 7 pm at the Big Butte Fire Hall 900 Lexington Ave in Butte MT.
Talk is free and open to the public, suitable for families and all members of the public.
Talk will include information on bear behavior, biology, habitat and staying safe in bear country. Hands on learning materials such as full sized bear mounts, skulls, paws and bear behavior video will also be included in the presentation. Talk will also include bear spray training with inert bear spray canisters.
Another talk is scheduled for Thursday September 19th, 7pm Big Butte Fire Hall.
