Frank Little Centennial Memorial
10:00 AM
Mountain View Cemetery
Description:
The Missoula General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World will be holding the hundred-year memorial of the life and work of our Fellow Worker Frank Little, who was murdered in Butte on August 1st, 1917. We cordially invite our fellow Wobblies near and far, as well as members of other labor unions, the press and the general public to join us for our commemoration of Frank Little at his grave in Mountain View Cemetery at 10 AM on August 1st.

After our visit to Frank's resting place we will caravan to a picnic area near the Milwaukee Bridge where he was hanged, before making our way up to the trestle to lay a wreath for our fallen hero. From there we will continue to an area campground to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, socialize with our Fellow Workers and sing the songs of our union in the area Frank Little gave his life trying to organize. We look forward to marking the passing of Fellow Worker Frank, meeting others who still share his memory and discussing ways to carry on his work.
