This two-day conference (September 15 and 16) offers mental health counselors, primary care providers and pastoral care personnel knowledge about adverse child-hood experiences and their impact on mental and physical illness (trauma informed care). The conference provides practical strategies for integrating trauma informed care into treatment, referral and prevention strategies at both a clinical and community based level.
