Seventh Annual Boulder Fall Fiddle Fest and Dance
The cat will be fiddling and the cow might jump over the moon at the seventh annual Boulder Fall Fiddle Fest and Dance on Saturday October 15th at the Boulder United Methodist Church (211 West Centennial) and at Boulder Hot Springs (31 Hot Springs Road) in Boulder Montana.
At noon, there will be a free musician's lunch in the church fellowship hall.
At 1 pm an Appalachian Flatfoot Dance Workshop will be presented by Derek Gallagher. Open musician jams will be going on all afternoon. Public welcome
From 2 to 4:30 pm, musicians will be able to show off their playing skills at the open mic in the Historic Boulder Methodist Church. Musicians love to have an audience, so please come, listen and enjoy.
Don't let the dish run away with the spoon! A benefit dinner will be served in the fellowship hall. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Boulder Library Robotics and the Boulder heritage Center.
There will be a concert in the church, featuring Brigid Reedy at 6 pm and Helena Handbasket at 6:45 pm. The concert is free with donations accepted.
Get your dancing shoes on. There will be a dance at Boulder Hot Springs from 8 to 11 pm. The Dance will be called by Derek Gallagher with music provided by Helena Handbasket. The dance will include simple contras and squares and will include social dance time. The charge for the dance is $7.00
