Demystifying Shakespeare

This workshop is Digital via Zoom

Description: In this workshop, we will incorporate the spirit of play to unpack text, unlock your inner classical actor, and demystify Shakespeare. Drawing from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, participants will have the opportunity to workshop scenes and soliloquies, and leave with tools to tackle any classical text.

Aaron Bartz is an actor originally from Montana, living on the east coast with his wife and daughter. Currently, he plays Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, and has been seen on TV in “The Good Wife” and regionally in many plays around the country. Shakespeare is a passion of his, and he’s performed in numerous professional productions, countless educational productions, and a few masterclasses and workshops. Additionally, Aaron has taught acting at Mount Holyoke College and the University of New Haven. He earned his BFA from the University of Montana and MFA from Yale School of Drama.
