Acting the Comedic Song
with Natalie Charle Ellis

Want to enhance your comedic chops? If so this is the workshop for you! Bring your favorite comedic song and get ready to work with one of the funniest ladies on Broadway! Work on finding the moments in your comedic song, making strong vocal/physical choices and how to audition effectively with a comedic piece.

Natalie Charle Ellis was most recently seen in Broadway’s Beetlejuice the Musical as the offstage standby for Barbara and Delia. She was also in the original Broadway companies of School of Rock and Les Miserables (2014 revival) as well as an original cast member of the Off-Broadway production of Forbidden Broadway Alive and Kicking. Some of her other favorite credits include: 9-5 the Musical (First National Tour); The Full Monty (Georgie) and Brigadoon (Meg) at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera; Hello Dolly! starring Beth Leavel (Irene Molloy) and Clue (Mrs.White) at Cape Playhouse; Into the Woods (Cinderella) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie) at Phoenix Theatre and Lizzie the Musical (Emma Borden) at Theatre Under the Stars. She was also a co-star on Master of None (Netflix). Natalie has also traveled the world performing on the high seas as a guest entertainer for Norweigian Cruise Line and American Hawaii Cruise Line as well as a principal performer at Tokyo Disney. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Natalie has been performing since the age of 5 and always knew the stage was where she was meant to be. Theatre is what she lives and breathes and is her true life passion. But more than just performing, her goal is to inspire and share this passion and joy with young and inspired artists.
