Devised Theatre Workshop
With Danielle Sather
Thursday May 9th from 4p to 8 p
Ages 7 and up (Workshop maxes at 30 participants)

In her devised theatre workshop, students will first be introduced to a variety of ensemble building games and exercises, as the ensemble is foundational to a healthy collaborative process. Drawing from these exercises, Danielle will facilitate the students’ individual discovery of potential seeds for devised theatre work. Finally, the group will be guided in bringing these seeds together to create a short original work during this time together. The goal of this workshop is for students to leave with a broad understanding of the many different ways one might create new works—both individually and with a group.

All Workshops are located at the Orphan Girl Theatre. The Theatre is accessed at 316 W. Park Street (Washington St. Entrance) in the Lower Level of the Mother Lode Theatre in Historic Uptown Butte.
