Free Performance - Robin Hood: Naught in Nottingham Description:
Come to support our FREE OGCT Summer Camp Showcase of Robin Hood: Naught In Nottingham by Jacob Dorn and Patrick Rainville Dorn

Friday June 24th at 6 pm
Orphan Girl Theatre
316 W. Park St.
Galena St. Entrance

The vain and pompous Prince John squeezes the purses of the simple folk of Nottingham by raising taxes and ordering the Sheriff to set up a speed trap. Luckily, Robin turns the tables on the benighted Sheriff with the help of her band of outlaws, including panini-craving Friar Tuck, sensitive giant Little John, girly-girl Maid Marian, wise-cracking Nurse Betty, and wandering minstrel Alan a Dale and his cheerleading Bench Wenches.

Along the way, they also manage to thwart crybaby Prince John’s nefarious plans and take the braggart knight Guy of Gisbourne down a few notches. There’s merriment galore at the world’s first Renaissance Fair with horseless jousting, goofy disguises, silly chases, epic battles with pool noodles, and a show-stopping archery contest with moving targets. At last, with a guest cameo by King Richard, all things “naught in Nottingham” are set aright.

This show is FREE and FAMILY friendly! Donations accepted at the door and there will be concessions!
