Architectural Legacy of the Clark Family

Description:
The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives will continue its programming for the exhibit “William Clark and the Art of the Gilded Age” with an architectural walking tour with Mary McCormick, Historic Preservation Officer for Butte-Silver Bow, on August 5, 2021, at 5:15 p.m. Attendees will meet at Galena and Excelsior Streets. The walking tour will feature some of Butte’s historic properties touched by the Clark’s, including the Paul Clark Home, William Clark, Jr. carriage house, and others.

Attendees should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and for walking.

“William Clark and the Art of the Gilded Age” is sponsored by Butte-Silver Bow Archives, the University of Montana’s Montana Museum of Art and Culture, and Humanities Montana.
