Getting our children ready to start a new school year is a financial strain for a lot of our families. The $100-$125 provided to each child helps some of the families who would otherwise be unable to provide the needed clothing for their children. Each child will receive shoes, socks, outerwear, undergarments, one complete outfit of pants & shirt or a dress. Selection is based on child’s preferences. We recruit volunteers to be “Shopping Buddies” for the students. Due to still some gathering reluctance each volunteer will shop for 1-3 children based on information provided by the child of their choice in color preferences, style, characters, type or not type of clothing. .
