PITIFUL BEAUTIFUL PITTANCE by Susan Melinda Dunlap

Leaving her job as a magician's assistant, Jewel travels to the Berkeley Pit's viewing stand to test the pit's "magic" ability to turn tin into copper when she meets Todd, who is there to meet another woman for a date. The unlikely pair fall in love, but the police may stop the match. This play was commissioned by the Root and the Bloom Collective through a Montana Arts Council grant.
