Victory Circle Dedication
5:00 PM
Victory Circle
Please join us for the dedication of Victory Circle, a new green space at the corner of Park and Arizona Streets. The dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 5 PM. The Rotary Tree, which was made possible by funding from the Rotary Club of Butte and the high school Interact Club, will be lighted during the ceremony.

A joint project of the Rotary Club of Butte, Interact Club of Butte and Butte-Silver Bow, the ceremony will coincide with Mainstreet Uptown Butte’s annual ice sculpting contest. Chief Executive Dave Palmer, along with Rotary and Interact members and Butte-Silver Bow officials, will be in attendance.

Christmas carols will be led by the Butte High School Varsity Choir. The stone marker for the tree was donated by Bernie Brophy of Butte Granite Works.

To honor Alma Higgins, who encouraged the planting of yellow, white and red roses in yards throughout Butte, Mainstreet Uptown Butte has contributed light-up roses for the first 50 children who attend. Each child will be able to” pick” one from around the tree.
