Playwriting Intensive

December 17th -20th from 4:30 – 6:30pm
Free Showcase January 11th, 2019

This four-day intensive will allow participants to learn brainstorming techniques, formatting, and style for writing a play. Participants will write a 5 to 10-minute play which will then be performed in a staged reading with a Q & A session for a showcase on January 11. The month between the class and the showcase will allow playwrights time to make adjustments, receive feedback and rewrite on their own time. There will be a follow up class between the four-day intensive and the staged readings for the class to revisit the materials as a group on January 7. This class is a must for any young artists who wish to participate in our 10/24 play festival as a writer!
